TOM'S CUSTOM E-3 NOTES:
One of the rewards of organizing the Berkeley Kite Festival is that Prism Designs produces a limited edition kite just for us. These kites are typically released in conjunctions with our annual Berkeley Kite Festival. Hence these customs are often referred to as “BKF Customs” or “Highline Kites Customs.”

In the past BKF Customs ranged in price from $269.00 to as much as $400.00.

For this Berkeley Kite Festival Prism Custom we selected the amazing E-3. When discussing design options for the E-3 Custom with Mark Reed, we knew we wanted to use Prism’s distinctive custom rainbow cloth, but wanted to make the kite like a trip to the dark side, a place where color is hard to find. The results are the most dramatically striking BKF Prism Customs ever produced. And at under $200.00 they are an amazingly unprecedented value.

Because of the way the rainbow cloth is printed and cut, no two of these customs are alike. Some have the full rainbow of colors while others favor the Citrus (yellow-orange-red) side of the color spectrum or Ice (green-blue-purple) end of the color wheel. Which ever you choose, we know you will enjoy these very special kites.

Each kite is signed and numbered, and carries signatures including that of Prism owner and renowned designer Mark Reed, as well as five additional members of Prism’s Seattle crew. That’s six signatures on each kite.

The BKF E-3 Custom is packaged in Prism’s silver diamond cloth and included flying lines and straps. Please note that this custom does not come with a training DVD.

The long-awaited successor to the beloved E2, the E3 continues the tradition as the ultimate package for pilots ready to take the next step into freestyle tricks. This custom package includes Diamond Cloth Case, 150# x 85´ Spectra lineset, yo-yo stoppers, and spine weight. For convenience, all the primary frame parts are the same as those on the E2, which means fewer parts to stock and easy repairs if you're already an E-2 owner.
