TOM'S NOTES:
From light winds to strong, the our 6’ Flow-Tail Delta 600 will get you airborne any time there is wind. Easy to fly even in light winds. One of things we love about this design is the modular tail system that allows you to fly with one tail or all three. This system expands the kite low wind performance. When the wind are the lowest you can fly with just one tail. In medium to strong winds you can fly with all three tails.
IGHLINE HOT NOTES:
After 25 years in the kite business we think the EO6 is one of the finest production kites we have ever seen. As kite designers ourselves, we know great work when we see it, and our Australian friend Phil McConnachie has out done himself. Though the EO6 looks fantastically complex, it is one of the easiest kites you will ever fly. Add the fact that, in low winds, it can become your tumbling gem in the sky is simply brilliant.
Equally at home high in the sky, hanging in your living room, in a modern art gallery, the Prism's EO6 is the perfect blend of form and function.
Though Prism makes this kite in three sizes, the EO6's ease of flight and wider wind range make it easily our top pick. It is also the least expensive. The EO6'S smaller size makes it transport to your kite field a breeze. Playful tumbling moves and crazy yoyos are all within your grasp with this wonderful kite. All in all, the "6" is the best value in the EO line.

I like that you can fly this kite with either one or three tails, depending on the wind. The outer, red tails are held on with long strips of velcro. I first easily launched this kite in a gentle breeze (5 mph?) with only the center tail, which is a permanent part of the kite. It continued to fly well as the winds picked up to ~ 12 mph, but I wanted to try it with all the tails, so I hauled it in and velcroed the red tails on. Since I was at the beach, I got a fair amount of sand stuck in the velcro. No problem, the velcro held securely. (After I got home, I was able to shake most of the sand out.) It was beautiful, and stayed high in the air while tied to a piece of driftwood. It came with a reel of 75# line, but in the future, I think I will use 100# or even 150# line when flying with all 3 tails in winds over 12 mph. It had a lot of "tug" and resistance as I was pulling it in.

We bought this as a first kite for our 11 year old daughter. She is able to manage it easily and is very pleased with its beautiful tails. It flies well in low wind conditions and this is a plus for us because we can fly it in our local park when there's a breeze. Thank you for your recommendation.

Great flying kite. Easy for beginners too. The tails glowed in the sun.

Even though I don't have much kite-flying experience the Delta was easy to set up and fly. Once we had it flying it seemed everyone at the beach was asking where we got it. Of course we sent the all to Highine, fast service and all top quality gear! :-)
The long tails really do set this kite apart.
